Perlite (Coarse Grade)

Perlite is created by crushing and heating volcanic rock until it expands to create small, white, porous pieces. This lightweight material is pH neutral and is usually added to soil mixes to increase aeration, prevent compaction and promote root growth; but we also use it as a standalone substrate for rooting cuttings or for rehabilitation.

Coarse grade is approximately 3-5mm grade
